Blog Title...

Just an interesting tidbit for those who are wondering... I had a lot of trouble thinking of a title for my blog, so I just picked a line from a song by Matisyahu called "Jerusalem." I thought it was appropriate, but it doesn't intentionally reflect any bias or anything. The chorus of the song is:

Jerusalem, if I forget you,
fire not gonna come from me tongue.
Jerusalem, if I forget you,
let my right hand forget what it's supposed to do

Here's the youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ5FvaASrs0

Check it out. He's a pretty cool musician.

  1. That line used by Matisyahu personifies, exemplifies the core of the feeling of so many Jews scattered throughout the world for 2000 years, longing and yearning to one day return to Zion. Those specific lines are taken from Pslams (Tehilim) 137, verses 5-7:

"If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither, let my tongue cleave to my palate if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy."

I'm sorry if I got kinda gushy...
